The position requires a high level of editing skill and experience with the Adobe Design Platform (PC) is required if you do not own your own equipment.  This is a contract position but will give you opportunities to work on a large variety of projects for clients such as the US Navy Seals, Air Force, Marines, iHigh.com, National Kidney Foundation, Acura, etc. to name only a few http://www.prosperproductions.com/clients.html

Overview

The Director of Business Development is responsible for leading and managing Done In Sixty Seconds®, LLC national sales operations. This individual will be involved in the development of relationships, scheduling of appearances, and the building of rapport with potential clients. He or she manages advertising, marketing, resource planning, budget, and partnership development.

This is a highly visible and complex role, since the candidate will be required to support and work with executives and users across a broad variety of corporate entities nationwide. The successful candidate must be a passionate and proactive visionary in driving the adoption and value of the usage of donein60.com. In addition, the candidate must be a strong leader, extremely well organized, detail-oriented and quality-minded and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create high-level direct client contact (sales) with small to large size companies.
  • Establish working relationships with potential partner entities such as advertising agencies, web design firms, online directories, etc.
  • Check on competitive activity and develop new methods of attaining accounts.
  • Guide the development of client/prospect sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior level executives with strategic clients and prospects
  • Hire, train, develop and manage contract sales staff.
  • Develop and enhance Done In Sixty Seconds®, LLC reputation as a leading source for online video production.
  • Represent the Company at industry trade associations and events.
  • Staff responsibilities include tracking sales results versus individual objectives, maintaining and reporting sales compensation plans, annual and monthly revenue tracking and reporting, ad hoc reporting, and contract processing.

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree within relevant discipline.
  • 10 years sales experience and 5 + years advertising/technology/internet media experience preferred,
  • or relevant combination of education and experience.

 Skills & Competency  Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of sales and advertising/internet media including trade associations and competitors.
  • Thorough knowledge of PC applications and Internet.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to keep abreast of emerging technology.
  • Ability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain group priorities and deadlines as well as meeting management.

Compensation:

Selected candidate will be offered a base salary, expense stipend, sales commissions and annual bonus based on sales goals.  Candidate may also option for an equity percent ownership in company to be acquired annually based on job performance.
